About
Hiring built on fit, not guesswork.
A resume tells you what someone has done. It doesn't tell you whether they'll fit the role. JobCommander matches job seekers and job posters on how they actually work, whether they find each other online or at a hiring event.
How matching works
Job posters list the skills each role needs, mark them required or preferred, and choose which factors matter most for that role. Job seekers rate their own skills and answer a short set of working-style questions.
We score every match across six areas: hard skills, working style, experience, location and work setup, industry, and education. If a job seeker is missing most of a role's required skills, the score is capped so it can't look better than it is. If a profile doesn't have enough information to score fairly, we ask them to finish it instead of guessing. Either side can open any score and see what drove it.
Hiring events, done better
We also power career fairs and hiring events for chambers of commerce, workforce development boards, colleges and other organizers. Attendees see who they match with before the event, connect and book meetings ahead of time, and check in with a QR pass on the day. Virtual and hybrid events include live virtual booths with a queue.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, and we don't post resumes on the open web. Before you connect with someone, they see only your first name and last initial. Contact details are shared only after a meeting is confirmed.
Running an event?
Organizer accounts are set up by our team, so every event has a real person behind it. Tell us about your events and we'll get you started.
